Industrial Plugs & Sockets | LED Post top Lantern
Gewiss have introduced their new, patented 67IB range of industrial plugs and sockets to exceed the safety of all existing products.
Wherever power is needed to run mobile machinery, or for machines which require user or operator removal such as machines in industrial kitchens and hospitals, as well as in industry, a safe connection is required every time. It is important to eliminate potential fire hazards caused by poor connections which generate hot spots, and protect machines and the people using them.
Made from high performance blue thermoplastic materials, the new Gewiss switches are guaranteed to provide excellent long-term resistance to impact, UV rays and chemical agents.
The hinged opening front panel makes installation, wiring and maintenance operations so much easier. The rotary button is designed to avoid dust build-up and to ensure an ergonomic grip, and it is padlocked to prevent unauthorised use.
For innovative protection, Gewiss have integrated a C-curve, 6 kA circuit breaker into the front of the socket outlet, maintaining a compact size and protecting the load. Previously, this feature made the whole switch socket outlet bulky and expensive. The new design improves aesthetics, reduces the likelihood of the switch being hit by passing machinery, and reduces the cost of this safety feature.
